Okay, so, things that have happened lately in my life which have had an impact on STREET.
1. I got a huge game writing contract for Malevolence: the Sword of Ahkranox, which is planned for release in December. I’m lead writer on it and it’s gonna be awesome. Seriously, check it out.
2. We bought a house.
3. Many things went wrong with closing on the aforementioned house, but we eventually succeeded after several horrible, horrible days.
4. We have been gradually moving in, and painting it, and it’s taken up a huge chunk of my time.
5. We tried to hire a moving company to get our big stuff over, and they neglected to show up or communicate with us or anything. So we’ve had to scramble to find a new one in any kind of decent timeframe. Keep your fingers crossed for us Thursday.
6. My lovely wife developed severe eye problems and has been out of commission since Monday. Since I can’t have a driving licence until my green card paperwork is completed (many moons from now, looks like), we’re having a certain amount of difficulty doing pretty much anything.
7. Today is the first day in over two weeks that I’ve managed to do any writing at all. STREET was my first priority. Now hopefully I can make a desperate attempt to meet my other deadlines.
So yeah, it’s had its ups and downs. Mustn’t complain too much. Just keep sending me your love and adoration and it’ll help me pull through!
