Hello everybody! I just got back from Space City Con in Houston, plus an extra day of slacking off, but now I’m home again and we return to business as usual. Well, mostly.
I met a lot of great people at SCC! Thanks to everyone who came to the Gryphonwood booth and talked to us, it’s really rewarding to see the actual readers in person and to watch them get more and more interested as they check out our books. Especially mine. 😉
I ended up selling a whole bunch of STREET trilogies, as well as a few doubles and singles. We barely had any books to take home. Sat on some excellent panels with cool people and wonderful audiences, enjoyed some of Houston’s lovely sushi, and had a nice break from usual day-to-day life. So, since I’m running out of positive words to describe the trip, I’ll stop here.
As for the upcoming stuff: with the completion of STREET and several new projects coming soon (including two fantasy novels), I’m planning to change streetofeyes.com to be more of a general author’s website. STREET itself will always have a significant corner, but it won’t be the main focus of the site anymore. I’ll still keep the name, though, because it sounds cool.
If you’ve just arrived, welcome, and thanks for coming! I hope you like everything you’ve seen of my stuff so far and will stick around for more. Got some really exciting stuff in the near future and I’m looking forward to having more and more things with my name on them. ‘s what I live for.
